Dawah Academy has implemented a project on malaria prevention and control in 10 communities of the Tamale metropolis with funding support from USAID/Prompt Ghana. A similar project was implemented in Gushegu and Karaga Districts of the Northern region in collaboration with the Catholic Relief Services (CRS). with funding support from Ghana Aids Commission GAC, Dawah Academy implemented HIV and Aids prevention control education in 10 Districts of the Northern Region, also with support from USAID/ProMPT- Ghana the organization implemented malaria control and prevention 20 communities in Tamale Metropolis
Dawah Academy implemented a five year educational programme in 5 Districts with the objective of promoting, enrollment and retention of the Muslim girl-child in school. We also implemented a complementary and inclusive education in Northern, Eastern and Western Region with funds from STAR-Ghana. Dawah Academy in collaboration with the Department of children has just implemented a project (Advocacy with Imams) on ending child marriage in 15 Districts of the Northern Region in the year 2016. It was funded by UNICEF.
